*** Note take a deep breath this may be the worlds most random run on sentence you have encountered, welcome to my nightmare  (broke out in song again) thought process.

Good morning,

We have been spending any free time we can muster up painting our barn, yes we have a barn, we are not allowed to have chickens in our tiny Mayberry town, but we have a barn dammit.. Painting the barn, hauling and spreading gravel on our drive, working on getting some displays done up that I can use for the community market, down at the Glass Center Gallery and in Grants Antique mall. I have finished 3 out of 9 of those. I figure if I have 5 projects going eventually I will get 3 done.

These are my first displays, I even cut my own wood :)

I really love how they are turning out. I will be working on these a bit today too, hopefully get a couple more done. The butterfly pendants on them are made from a 2 part apoxy clay, fun freakin stuff! hand painted, and adorned with swarovski crystals and signed. If you are interested in one, shoot me an email to Everafterart@aol.com  $ 40.00free shipping.

I have even managed to get some glass done this week, been working on a large special order,  A new Rose design, OMG I thought about these and made them in my head for two days before sitting down to try them out, Love at first sight, If I had two nickels to rub together I would keep one of the sets.

These are up for sale on ebay,

Mojo roses

princess roses

In the center of each rose is a ribbon rose style bud, wrapped around with bloomed petals, soooooo pretty. You want some???? http://www.ebay.com/sch/everafterartistry/m.html?item=151059227418&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

its a dreary rainy day around here today, one of those rainy days and Mondaysssssssss, (yes I just broke out in song!) (my dogs just gave me the look)

I am chipping away at getting traffic back to my website, admittedly I am a facebook addict and sometimes updating my blog seems redundant.

I have been low carbing it for over a month, Im trying to get back into my aol 4.0 size, Im down to my aol 7.0 size, and yesterday I had a cheat day, I ate a dark chocolate milky way, MERCY felt like I was eating cubes of sugar, and we had pizza. I dont even like pizza, but it was great (yesterday) This morning my face is puffy, my eyes are watery, and my tummy is in distress. I wouldnt jump on the bandwagon of having a gluten allergy, I do know wether I am low carbing or not, I cant mix suagr and wheat products like donuts, muffins, raspberry zingers together. always a sure reason to eat gaviscons for me, I dont know why, sugar alone is fine, wheat alone is fine, mix the two...

Oh!!! I have some mixed media peices I am working on too! anddddddddddd I HAVE AN IDEA!!!!

I truly am working on breaking my day up into two hour increments, (time management  a forgien dirty word to me)

Will you be a real friend and help keep me on track????  pleaseeeeeee

Tomorrow I have some more news for you! mmm hmmmmm

Oh I forgot to mention the camera and couch monster! OK so I wanted to take pictures to pimp out on facebook of our progress with the barn, and my dispays etc. where is my new camera????? I always upload my pics here and have to attach my camera to the computer to do so, so it has to be right around this spot right? NO, well sort of, I dug in every sofa cushion, tipped the sofa over, found all kinds of interesting things tucked under it. no camera, crap! soooo I bust out the old reliable camera, find its card, cord etc, charge the batteries it takes. and use it all the while thinking Im not even done paying for my new camera! ^%^$^*%$ where the hell could it be??? I go in a search rage, tip the couch over tear a small hole in the lining underneath, (what is that for anyways?) hear some clunking, and some treasures fall out! nail clippers, a hand mirror, pens (4) a pair of tweezers three M n M's  and a pair of thongs. I gave Steve a stern questioning look for, and his reply was "what??? I stopped wearing thongs years ago," No camera, I get vicious, tear back more of the lining, get out a flashlight, and start investigating! ta freakin da! there she is! I knew it! now, looking at the pictures I took with my old camera, and the struggles I have had with color on my new camera etc, I have decided I like my old camera better.  Go figure.

Coffee, Roses, and an alien in my neck knuckle.

Morning, I have an alien in my neck knucle this morning, only words I can find to describe it. This weekend we started painting our barn. Looks like its going to be a summer project.

Some of my friends and people that know me, know I have a little bit of a problem with caffiene, coffee, diet soda, chocolate covered coffee beans, what you got? I will take some, even midol is my preferred pain killer because it contains caffiene. This mornings coffee is bliss.

But lets talk glass for a minute. or a day, or an hour, or a month, or.. :)

New Design!

I need a name for these though. I have the twisted roses, I have ribbon roses, I have sweetheart roses, and spiral roses, all named and even have written tutorials for.

What would you call this style of rose???

Cottage rose?

Chic Rose?

By any other name, rose...

Classic rose?

Bacon roses? ha, One of my friends, said at first glance of this color of roses she thought it was bacon, which made me laugh, then think, hmmmmm Maybe that why I always loved the peach colored roses with pink edges! the resemble bacon!!!!

Starting Fresh Deja Vu

I have totally neglected my website, and its so stupid of me, but with facebook, pinterest, and twitter it has seemed redundant that I update twice or seven times about the goings on in my world. With a little motivation from friends, I am putting my nose to it!

New work is available in my web store as I can get it put into it!

I was going to just delete this blog entirely and start fresh, after changing my .com from everafterartistry to Laurie Donnette, I have hours and hours of changing image urls to bring it back to life, But I am going to just start fresh from here on out.

I would rather spend my time making pretty things and messes!

Good morning, for a few months now I have been trying to switch my glass pallette over to exclusively Bullseye glass. I finally took the leap gathered up all my 104 and 96 glass sold it off, cleansed my work are of all traces, and ordered enough to keep me busy for a while, Im excitited about the new colors. Im thrilled it is made in the USA :)

here are a couple new sets made with it...

I also have been working with some enamels, I will post some examples later today,

also I intend to move all my tutorials over to my shop here.

Wish It Forward :)

So in my head this is a genius Idea, now If I can only get it out verbally, or at least in the written word, work with me here please :)

SO.... Passing the wishes out makes my heart smile, and for my fellow lampworkers I would love for them to follow suit, For non lampworkers or simply someone who doesnt or cant make their own, I want to see wishes passed, the whole ripple effect I totally believe can put forth such amazing positive things out there.

I only leave Michigan once a year basically, I like to imagine the handfull of wishes I have set forth have gone around the world :) but I would love to see more!!!

Here is my idea, to help you become a participant in THE WISH EFFECT ...

Each week I will make a couple of these wish sets up, Im keeping them as affordable as I can, (available in my webstore) $20.00 for the donuts, 22.00 for the heart sets, free shipping world wide!)

in each set is a large wish bead pendant, yours to keep as a wish granter, and three small wish beads complete with the pass it forward tags,(not shown in pictures but are shown in the wish bead pile shot)

I am making a page up here on this site, to share your wish effect stories or picture that you want to share, totally not required, pass your three wishes on annonomously, or share with us!

The sharing page will be named The Wishing Well. and be in the links to the left<<,

Do you get my idea? do you have any suggestions? or thoughts? email me! everafterart@aol.com!

Here are this weeks sets, there are two large donut pendants, and one heart pendant, the pendants have psyche glass swirls, and handmade star millis, a lil bit fancier than the wish beads but made with all the same love <3

This weeks pendants come on copper ball chains, 24 inch in length but easily adjustable.

I will set up link to purchase these in my web store on this site also. click on picture to purchase

I will set up the wishing well page and the webstore page right now, give me a few minutes then I will link to it here :)

Trying to consolidate my chaos.. Im moving my blogger account over here bit by bit also, getting a little bit cranky because it wont let me copy paste to here, ha

I want to share with everyone my Pass A Wish project I started last summer before my world got turned inside out :(

Trying to move forward with positive intentions,

OH! I think I figured it out!!!

Make A Wish Pass it on :)

I'm not sure why I decided I had to do this, But I will tell you I had an incredible day! and cant wait to get back out and do it again, I made a handfull of large big holed beads with starry millis in them, and attached a little tag that reads~If this finds you...Make A Wish...and pass it on.

My intentions were to just lay them out randomly in a part of town, and snap a picture or two as people picked them up, I did this with a couple, but for the most part I walked up introduced myself, gave them their WISH :) it went better than I had hoped and I met some really interesting people I never would have!

The beads/wishes

Leaving home, boy they make you feel guilty :) We went out to St Jo, for our first adventure, beautiful old lakeside town on lake Michigan

First recipient, what a doll! Her wish is to go back to Dublin, :)

Second recipients, we left it right where the little girl is looking down , I did go up and explain it to her mom

3rd peeps :) at first I think they thought I was going to try and sell them something, :) after they learned there were no strings attached, and I made sure they werent under the witness protection plan they smiled for the picture. as soon as we walked away two girls went running up to them to check it out, (wonder what they wished for :)

Our waitress number 4, I wish I was that photogenic! she asked if she had to wish for something "reasonable" I said no way!

5 We left this on on the bench and sat a couple benches away, almost gave up when this little boy scoped it out, he ran right up to his mommy showing her :) smile

6. and maybe one of my favorites, I approached his mother at a table by herself, looking like she needed a wish, when I started my spiel, she just looked at me strange, she didnt speak eglinsh! ta da saved by two young ones that showed up, I explained it to them and this young mans face lit up, he asked If i wanted him to pass it around to all 75 customers in the chocolate shop :) I said pass it on to whoever you think needs a wish :) The girl got shy about getting her picture taken, so I went out side and got a group shot, and they were all smiling with mom holding the bead in her hands.

I cant wait to do it again! What a perfect beautiful mondo cool day!

Im looking at this like the more people that send their wishes out the more positive things can happen, I handed out 6 wish beads today:) Im hoping it has a ripple effect.

I am Woman, watch me change my mind!!!

So... I was building a new website, and it was really pretty, but alas, it had no storage for my pics, and the webstore sucked, ha...plus I had to have a seperate page for a blog, and that was just too many pans in the fire, and bad for my procrastination skills, this site is so much more user friendly,  everything is in one spot, simplicity and ease is what I need in order to semi keep up with things. so here I am!!! By the way you can get here using either everafterartistry.com or LaurieDonnette. com :)

I have alot to transfer over here, and a lot to update, as usual, but as I was working on this site this morning I came across this free heart murrini tutorial, just in the nick of time for Valentines day!

Ok back to work, :)
